Andrea is a hard working Mom from New Haven who owns and operates multiple businesses. She is active in her district and serves as the ward 8 co-chair and is on the Wooster Square Monument committee. She completed New Haven's Democracy School program and will bring a Republican Woman's voice and common sense to the capital.
Andrea's focus is on creating a safer community for all residents. She has a background in cybersecurity and would like to tackle homeland security issues that are currently on the rise.
Not only has Andrea spent her time dedicated to her family, businesses and community but she also spends her free time working with underprivileged Children in the Connecticut school system. After working on a title-1 contract she would like to focus on ensuring that the Connecticut school system has the appropriate funds to build a bright future.
Andrea attended Albertus Magnus College where she studied business managment. She graduated from Yale School of Managment Women in Leadership program during the Summer of 2022 where she made the decision to move forward with a career in politics. Her first cybersecurity bootcamp was with NYU-SPS and has accumulated various cyber credits with SCSU with a focus on Cyber Risk Managment, she's a member of the WiCyS community.
She is the first Woman from her Italian and Irish American family with strong political ties to New Haven and Connecticut to enter politics, following in the footsteps of her ancestors.
The key focus of her campaign right now is qualifying for the CEP campaign grant by raising nearly $6,000 from 150 New Haven residents in amounts ranging from $5 to $320. This will make her eligible for a grant of over $30,000, putting her on equal financial footing with her opponent. By participating in the grant, both candidates will be restricted to using only the grant money and funds raised for qualifying. Time is running out, so the sooner this goal is achieved, the more time she will have to focus on campaigning rather than fundraising.
Let's collaborate to make this happen!
